ChatGPT: Set up the Visily MCP server

Before you start

  1. The Visily MCP works only on workspaces on a Pro or Business plan where you are the workspace creator or have an editor license. Free workspaces and viewer/guest roles are not supported.
  2. Server URL: https://app.visily.ai/api/mcp

Set up the Visily MCP server

  1. Open the ChatGPT desktop app.
  2. Go to Settings > Apps, then enable Developer mode
  3. Add Visily MCP as a new app.
  4. In the Connection field, enter https://app.visily.ai/api/mcp 
  5. Select the authentication method, typically OAuth
  6. Create the app and complete the authorization process if prompted.
  7. Start a new chat, then select the Visily app when you want to use it.
