Use Visily with Notion to keep design references, product requirements, and project documentation in one place. You can add Visily boards, screens, or element links to Notion pages so teammates can quickly access the relevant design context.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
- Access to the Notion page where you want to add Visily content
- Access to the Visily board, screen, or element you want to share
- The correct sharing settings for anyone who needs to open the Visily link
Add a Visily link to Notion
- Open the Visily board that contains the content you want to share.
- Copy the link to the board, screen, or element.
- Open the Notion page where you want to add the design reference.
- Paste the Visily link into the Notion page.
- Choose how you want the link to appear, such as a bookmark, mention, or embedded preview if available.
The Visily link will be added to your Notion page so teammates can open the design directly from Notion.
What you can add to Notion
You can add links to:
- Boards: Share the full design board.
- Screens: Direct teammates to a specific screen.
- Elements: Point collaborators to a specific design element or component.
Manage access
A Visily link follows the access permissions set in Visily. If you cannot open the Visily link from Notion, check the sharing settings in Visily.
Note
- Adding a Visily link to Notion does not automatically grant access to private Visily content.
- Recipients must have permission to open the linked board, screen, or element in Visily.
- Public links may be accessible to anyone with the link, depending on your Visily sharing settings.
- If you only want to share a specific part of a board, copy a link to the relevant screen or element instead of the full board.
