Use alignment tools to arrange elements, groups, and screens consistently. You can align one element relative to its parent or align multiple objects relative to one another.
Before you start
Make sure you have permission to edit the board and are in design editing mode.
Access the alignment options
Align a single element
When you select one element inside a screen, container, or group, the alignment options position it relative to its parent. Choose from the following options:
- Align left: Moves the element to the left edge of its parent.
- Align horizontal center: Centers the element horizontally within its parent.
- Align right: Moves the element to the right edge of its parent.
- Align top: Moves the element to the top edge of its parent.
- Align vertical center: Centers the element vertically within its parent.
- Align bottom: Moves the element to the bottom edge of its parent.
The element must be inside a parent screen, container, or group to be aligned relative to it.
Align multiple objects
Select two or more elements, groups, or screens, then choose an alignment option. Visily aligns the selected objects relative to one another without changing their sizes. The available alignment options are the same as those used for a single element.
Distribute objects evenly
Use distribution to create equal spacing between three or more selected objects. Select at least three objects, then choose:
- Distribute horizontally: Creates equal horizontal spacing between the objects.

- Distribute vertically: Creates equal vertical spacing between the objects.

The outermost objects remain in place while Visily adjusts the spacing between the objects in the middle.
Tips
- Hold Shift while selecting objects to add them to your selection.
- Group related elements when you want to align them as one object.
- Use layout grids to maintain consistent alignment inside screens.
- Use the board grid to arrange screens and diagram elements across the canvas.
