How to copy and paste styles between elements

How to copy and paste styles between elements

Use Copy and paste styles to quickly apply the visual appearance of one element to another without recreating each style setting manually. This helps you maintain consistent colors, text formatting, borders, shadows, and other visual properties across your design.

Before you start

Make sure you have:
  1. Permission to edit the board and are in design editing mode.
  2. An element with the style you want to copy and another element where you want to apply the style

Copy and paste an element’s style

  1. Select the element whose style you want to copy.
  2. Open More actions from the element toolbar or right-click the element, then select Copy styles.

  3. Select the element where you want to apply the copied style. To apply it to multiple elements, continue selecting each target element.

  4. When finished, press Esc or click an empty area of the canvas to exit copy style mode.
Visily applies the supported style properties from the copied element to the selected element while keeping its existing content and position.
NotesThe available results depend on the selected element types. If the target element does not support a copied property, Visily does not apply that property.
