How to create a board

A board is where your design work happens, and you can create unlimited canvases inside a board for ideation, design, and collaboration.

Create Board

You can create a board in several ways in Visily:

1. In your workspace view, open either a Team Space or Private Space from the left panel.
2. In the main area, choose one of the available board creation options. You can also click the Create new icon (+) next to the space name to open the board creation menu. 
3. Select the ways you want to create your board:
   
1. Start with AI to brainstorm and generate screens or design elements from prompts.
2. Start with Template to create a board from a prebuilt template.
   
3. Import from Figma to create a board by converting your existing Figma design into Visily.
4. Duplicate Board to create a copy of an existing board. 
5. Create Blank Board to start from scratch.
   

For duplicated boards, you can choose the destination and what content to copy. Content you can duplicate includes:

1. Theme colors & fonts (default): Automatically applied to the new board, including any custom fonts you have added.
2. Designs from the original board.
   
3. Uploaded images and saved templates.
   
4. Collaborations & permissions set on the current board.
   

Notes

1. If a space does not have any boards yet, you may see a Create your first board option below the starting options menu. 
2. A Private Space is only available on paid plans.
