How to invite your team to access your board

Invite teammates to your board so they can view, comment, or edit your design with the right level of access.

How to invite people to a board

  1. Open the board you want to share.
  2. Open the Share dialog using one of these options:
    1. Click Share in the top-right corner of the board.
    2. Open the board dropdown menu and select Share board.


  3. In the Invite section, invite people using one of the available options, such as email, Slack, or Google.


  4. Set the appropriate permission, such as Can view or Can edit.


  5. Add an invitation message if needed, then send the invitation.
The invited users will receive access to the board based on the permission you selected.
You can also share a board by copying its link.
  1. From the Share dialog, go to the Link settings section and copy the board link.


  2. Set the link privacy. The board link follows the permission you choose:
    1. Restricted: Only invited people can access the board.
    2. Public access: Anyone with the link can view the board.
      

Notes
By default, links are restricted, so only invited users can access the board unless you change the link settings.

Note

  1. Users with Can view permission can request edit access when needed. 
  2. On paid plans, the board Share dialog also lets you quickly invite users to the folder where the board is located and access the company sharing settings.
  3. On paid plans, if you invite someone with edit access and your workspace has reached its license or guest editor limit, you may need to add more licenses before granting access.
