How to invite your team to access your workspace
Invite teammates to your workspace so they can collaborate on boards, folders, and shared workspace resources.
Before you start
Make sure you have permission to invite members to the workspace. Workspace users with Editor or Admin permission can invite members.
Invite members to your workspace via email
- Open the workspace you want to invite people to.
- Open the Invite members dialog using either of these options:
- In the main view of your Team Space, click Invite members in the top-right corner

- Open the Workspace menu and select Invite members

- In the Invite member dialog, enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite.

- Choose the permission you want to assign:
- Admin: Can manage workspace settings, members, billing, and other admin-level actions.
- Editor: Can create and edit boards and folders in the workspace.
- Viewer: Can view workspace content, but cannot edit designs.

- Add an optional note if you want to include more context, then send the invitation.

Recipients will receive an email invitation to join your workspace.
Invite members to your workspace via link
You can also invite members using an invitation link from the Invite member dialog.
- Turn on the Invite via link option.
- Choose the permission you want to assign.
- Copy the invitation link.
- Share the link with the people you want to invite.
You can turn off Invite via link if you no longer want the link to be active.
You can also reset the link to generate a new invitation link. Once reset, the previous invite link can no longer be used to join your workspace.
Invite from Slack or Google
From the Invite members dialog, you can also invite contacts from Slack or Google.
Choose the Slack or Google option, connect your account if prompted, then select the contacts you want to invite, assign the appropriate permission, and send the invitation.
Note
- Workspace members can access shared workspace areas based on their assigned permission.
- When in paid plans, if your workspace has reached its license limit, you may need to add or manage licenses before inviting more editors.
- Company domains can help users with your verified company email domain discover and join the workspace automatically, depending on your settings.
