How to use AI Plan mode
This article explains how to use AI Plan Mode in Visily. Plan Mode helps you create a structured design plan before generating the actual design.
Access and use AI Plan mode
- In the Visily AI chat box, choose Plan Mode.
- Enter a prompt describing what you want to plan.
- Set up Design Instructions, if needed, to guide the Visily AI with specific design preferences. This helps make the generated plan more aligned with your needs.
- Press Enter or click Generate to let the Visily AI start analyzing your request.
- Answer the questions from Visily AI to help clarify your requirements. Once enough details are collected, it will generate a design plan with everything needed to create the requested design.
- Review the generated plan in the chat thread to confirm the details. Click the generated plan to open it in full view.
- Refine the plan if needed:
- Choose Edit plan to directly update the generated plan
- Choose Send to AI Chat to continue prompting and have the AI refine your requirements
- When the plan looks right, click Start design to let the AI use it as the basis for generating the actual design in Design Mode. Your design will be generated based on the approved design plan.
Make sure to configure your AI design settings, such as Deep Design and Generate Images, before clicking Start design.
Note
- You can copy the generated plan as text by clicking the Copy icon on the plan card, then paste it into a new chat thread to continue brainstorming or designing in a separate conversation. You can also save it as a Design Instruction for reuse later.
- You can also access actions such as edit, send to AI chat, copy, and start designing from the plan card in the chat thread.
