How to use Omni Search
Use Omni Search in Visily to quickly find boards, folders, commands, features, and helpful resources from one search box. You can open Omni Search from both the workspace homepage and the board editor.
What you can search
With Omni Search, you can search for:
- Boards and folders: Quickly find and open work across your workspace.
- Commands and features: Search for actions or tools and open them directly.
- Guide content and resources: Access helpful articles and resources when you need support.
Search results may vary depending on where you are using Omni Search and what you have access to.
How to use Omni Search
- Open the Omni Search dialog using one of these options:
- From any workspace you have access to, click Search in the left panel.
- When working in a board, click the Search icon in the top-right bar, or press Cmd + / on Mac or Ctrl + / on Windows.
- In the search dialog, switch between tabs depending on what you want to find:
- Commands: Search for quick actions and features, such as Visily AI actions, templates, design and editing tools, prototyping tools, handoff tools, sharing, comments, workspace actions, navigation to folders, boards, spaces, or workspaces, settings, subscription options, and help resources.
- Folders & Boards: Search for folders and boards across the workspaces you have access to.
- Guides: Search for updates and tutorials inside the app.
- Enter the name or keywords for what you want to find.
- Select a result from the search pop-up to open it or run the action.
