How to use "Start with Template" to create a board
This article explains how to use Start with Template to create a board in Visily. This option lets you start from a prebuilt template from Visily’s template library, including both screen and diagram templates.
Start with Template
- In your workspace, open a Team Space or Private Space from the left panel.
- In the main area, click Start with Template. You can also click the Create new icon (+) next to the space name to open the board creation menu, then select Start with Template.
- Choose one of the following options. This opens the corresponding template dialog.
- Screen Template: Start with prebuilt UI screen templates for apps and websites
- Diagram Template: Start with prebuilt diagram templates for flows, structures, and planning visuals.
- Browse the template library to find templates that fit your needs. If needed, click Preview to review a template before using it.
- Select the templates you want to use, then click Use template to create your new board. You can select and add multiple templates at once.
- Once the board is created, start editing the content to match your project needs with the editing toolbar.
You can continue adding more templates to your board after it is created by using the Visily template library. For more details, see these template guides:
