What you can do with the Visily AI Chat Assistant

The Visily AI Chat Assistant helps you generate and refine designs throughout your design process. You can use it to brainstorm ideas, create designs faster, iterate on outputs, and update existing work while keeping results aligned with your design goals and project context.

Supported outputs

The Visily AI Chat Assistant supports the following types of outputs:
  1. UI Screens — Generate mobile apps, web apps, or websites. You can create a single screen or an entire app flow.
  2. UI Components — Generate common UI components such as tables, charts, headers, and menus.
  3. Images — Create photos or illustrations to support your designs.
  4. Diagrams — Generate diagrams such as sitemaps, organization charts, flowcharts, state diagrams, use case diagrams, class diagrams, and entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs). 

Key ways to use the AI Chat Assistant

The Visily AI Chat Assistant also includes multiple ways to guide generation, refine results, and work more flexibly throughout your design process.
  1. Plan Mode — Create a structured design plan before generating the actual design.
  2. Design Instructions — Guide the AI with your project goals, constraints, and design preferences across generations.
  3. Prompt-based generation — Create designs by entering text instructions in the chat box.
  4. Image-based guidance — Upload images to help guide the AI visually.
  5. Reference-based generation — Use existing designs as references for new outputs.
  6. Refinement through chat — Continue refining generated outputs by prompting the AI further in the same thread.
  7. Canvas editing with AI — Modify existing designs directly on the canvas with AI assistance.
  8. Generation settings — Work in different generation modes, including Deep Design for more detailed results, and Generate Images to control whether designs use real images or placeholders.
  9. Preview and styling — Preview generated outputs and explore style options by AI before applying them.
  10. Add to board — Review generated results in the chat thread, then add them to your board.
  11. Chat management — Start a new chat, view chat history, rename or delete threads, and move or resize the AI chat window.
