How to create a board from scratch

This article explains how to create a board from scratch in Visily.

Create blank board

1. In your workspace, open a Team Space or Private Space from the left panel.
2. In the main area, click Create Blank Board. You can also click the Create new icon (+) next to the space name to open the board creation menu, then select Create Blank Board. 
3. Choose the type of blank board you want to create:
   
1. Low-fidelity design (Lo-fi): Best for quick sketches, wireframes, and brainstorming concepts without focusing on visual details.
2. High-fidelity design (Hi-fi): Best for polished, detailed designs that are closer to the final product.
3. Diagram: Best for flowcharts, planning maps, and other structured diagrams. 

You can also create a new board directly from the board dropdown menu while working in an existing board.

Create blank board from the browser address bar

You can quickly create a new board by typing visily.new in your browser’s address bar while logged in to your Visily workspace.

For free plans, the board will be created in the default Team Space and shared with all members, while for paid plans, it will be created in your Private Space.
