How to delete a workspace

How to delete a workspace

Delete a workspace only when you no longer need the workspace, its boards, folders, members, and workspace-level settings.

Before you start

  1. Only the Workspace Owner can delete a workspace.
  2. Deleting a workspace is permanent and affects everyone who has access to it.

How to delete a workspace

  1. Open the workspace you want to delete.
  2. Open the Workspace menu and select Workspace settings.

  3. Go to General tab.

  4. Select the option to delete the workspace.

  5. Review the deletion warning carefully.

  6. Confirm that you want to delete the workspace.

What happens when you delete a workspace

When you delete a workspace, all content and settings in that workspace will be removed. This may include:
  1. Boards and folders
  2. Projects and Team Spaces
  3. Workspace members and guest access
  4. Workspace Library assets, such as themes, templates, images, and custom fonts
  5. Workspace settings, billing-related settings, and security settings where applicable
People who previously had access to the workspace will no longer be able to open its content.
Warning
Important warning
  1. Deleting a workspace is permanent and cannot be undone.
  2. Before deleting a workspace, make sure you have saved or exported anything you still need. Once the workspace is deleted, you may not be able to recover its boards, folders, assets, or settings.
  3. If your workspace is on a paid plan, review your subscription status before deleting the workspace. Deleting a workspace may affect access to your paid workspace and its billing-related settings.

Note

  1. If you only want to stop paying for a workspace, consider canceling the subscription instead of deleting the workspace.
  2. If you only want to leave the workspace, use the option to leave the workspace instead of deleting it.
  3. If other people still need the workspace, transfer workspace ownership before leaving.
