How to generate a theme with AI

Use Generate theme with AI to quickly create a board theme from a text description. Describe the colors, mood, or visual style you want, and Visily AI will generate a theme that you can preview and apply to your board.

Before you start

  1. Make sure you have permission to edit the board.
  2. Themes are applied in Hi-fi design mode.
  3. Each theme generation costs 5 AI credits.

Generate a theme with AI

  1. Open the board where you want to generate a theme.
  2. Open Theme from the bottom toolbar.

  3. Select Generate theme from text.


  4. Enter a prompt describing the visual direction you want, such as the colors, mood, or style, then select Generate now to create the theme.


  5. Review the generated theme in the preview. Adjust the generated theme settings if needed to better match your preferred visual direction.

  6. Select Apply to use the generated theme on your board.

Idea
You can mention details such as colors, mood, visual style, and product context to describe the overall look and feel you want Visily AI to create. 
For example: "Create a modern and calming theme for a healthcare app using soft blue and green tones with clean, accessible typography."
The more specific your description is, the more context Visily AI has to generate a theme that matches your intended direction.

Notes

  1. Applying a theme updates the designs that use the board theme.
  2. To reuse the generated theme across multiple boards, you can save it as a Workspace Theme.
