How to save a board theme as a Workspace Theme
Save a board theme as a Workspace Theme when you want to reuse the same colors, text styles, shadows, and corner radius across multiple boards in your workspace.
Before you start
- Make sure you have permission to edit the board and manage workspace themes.
- Workspace Themes are available on paid plans that support Workspace Library, including the Pro and Business plans.
- Themes are applied in Hi-fi design mode. Theme settings are not applied in Lo-fi design mode.
Workspace Theme limits by plan
Workspace Theme availability and limits depend on your workspace plan:
- Pro plan: You can save up to 2 Workspace Themes.
- Business plan: You can save and manage an unlimited number of Workspace Themes.
If your workspace reaches the Workspace Theme limit, you may need to delete an existing theme or upgrade your plan before saving a new one.
Save a board theme as a Workspace Theme
- Open the board that contains the theme you want to save.
- Open Theme from the bottom toolbar of the board.

- Review the current board theme and make any final changes if needed.

- Click Save as workspace theme.

- Enter a name for the Workspace Theme.
- Confirm to save the theme.
After the theme is saved, it will be available in the workspace theme library and can be applied to other boards in the same workspace.
If your workspace already has saved Workspace Themes, you can also choose to overwrite an existing Workspace Theme.
Note
- Saving a board theme as a Workspace Theme does not automatically apply it to other existing boards. You need to apply the Workspace Theme to each board where you want to use it.
- Workspace Themes can be managed from Workspace Library, depending on your role and plan.
- If you update a saved Workspace Theme later, it may affect boards that use that theme.
